Our Safety-First Policies
Wave Wind's commitment to safety is ingrained in our company culture and the policies we have established to protect our team members, their families, and the customers entrusting us to help them succeed.
- Drug-Free Workplace Policy. Wave Wind maintains a strong drug-free workplace policy for all team members. This policy includes pre-employment, random, and post-accident testing.
- Safety Meetings. Project team members are required to attend daily safety meetings before each work day. These meetings are used to issue and review current safety plans and to examine the presence and condition of required safety equipment.
- Company-Issued Safety Equipment. Each project team member is provided with company-issued and purchased safety equipment. This equipment is provisioned exclusively for each individual team member; the sharing of safety equipment is prohibited.
- Driver Safety Program. Wave Wind maintains a strict driver safety program, the violation of which includes penalties ranging from suspension to termination. This is part of our commitment to the safety of our team members as well as the drivers with whom they share the road.
Our Safety Expertise
Our corporate safety managers are responsible for developing and delivering equipment and safety training to Wave Wind team members. They are also responsible for enforcing and updating Wave Wind's strict safety guidelines.
